We’re seeking volunteers to help support the continued growth and success of the ASHE Houston Section. Join a committee that aligns with your interests and make an impact!
  • Professional Development (PDH) Committee – Organize and oversee PDH distribution.
  • Technical Programs Committee – Plan technical programs and speaker coordination.
  • Membership Committee – Recruit, retain, and engage ASHE Houston members.
  • Communications & Media Committee – Promote events and initiatives through multiple platforms:
    • Newsletter – Create and distribute the Section newsletter.
    • Social Media – Manage ASHE Houston’s online presence and engagement.
    • Website – Keep our website up to date with events, news, and resources.
  • Student Relations Committee – Coordinate outreach efforts and university engagement with student chapters.
  • Younger Member Committee – Engage and support young professionals in the transportation industry.
  • Awards Selection Committee – Lead the nomination and selection process for our annual awards.
  • 2026 Gala Planning Committee – Help plan our signature awards and scholarship gala event.
  • Golf Tournament Committee – Plan and coordinate our annual fundraising golf tournament.
  • National Conference Planning Committee – Support Houston’s involvement in hosting the 2028 ASHE National Conference.
